Government clerks lose enormous time to one recurring task: transcribing a meeting recording and reformatting it into an official, legally compliant minutes document. I built an end-to-end service that automates the whole thing.

A recording goes in, and Deepgram handles multi-speaker transcription with accurate timestamps. OpenAI then structures the raw transcript into the municipality's own template — agenda items, decisions, action items, and attendees, all in the right places.

The workflow handles recordings up to three hours long and delivers a finalized, review-ready document in under ten minutes. It's now running as a recurring service for multiple municipal clients.

Each meeting saves four to six hours of a clerk's time, from raw recording to signed-off minutes.
